Berlin | DE; Ebensee, Wien | AT; Ferrara | IT · 2010 – 2017 (© PP · Ewiges Archiv) Herumfahren, Verkaufsstand aufstellen, die Ware auflegen, verkaufen oder nicht verkaufen, zusammenpacken, den Stand abbauen, weiterfahren. Im Grunde mache ich als „Freelancer/Selbständiger“ nichts anderes: Herumgehen, reden, meine Arbeit und Zeit anbieten, um einen Preis feilschen, bei Interesse einen Austauschwert, einen Preis für meine Leistung festlegen, tun, was vereinbart ist. Oder: keine Aufträge haben, keinen Tausch machen, kein Geld haben. Arbeit & Zeit gegen Geld oder Ware oder ebenfalls Zeit und Leistung. Bei Freund*innen, Bekannten und/oder Kolleg*innen tu ich mir sehr schwer mit der Festsetzung eines „Preises“, der für beide Seiten akzeptabel scheint. Sehr oft arbeite ich im Austausch für Kunstwerke.

Basically, as a “freelancer / self-employed person”, I do nothing else: go around, talk, offer my work and time, bargain for a price, if interested, set an exchange value, set a price for my performance, do what is agreed. Or: no orders, no exchange, no money. Work & time for money or goods or also time and performance. With friends, acquaintances and / or colleagues I find it very difficult to set a “price” that seems to be acceptable to both sides. I often work in exchange for works of art.
