Berlin | DE; Ebensee, Wien | AT · 2020 (Stylings © HairArtists Anonymos · Zeichnungen © PP · # 2654 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Von Zeit zu Zeit bitte ich Sabine Pawlik, die Friseurmeisterin meines Vertrauens, sich meines kümmerlichen Resthaares anzunehmen. Sie tut, was sie kann und die Zeit bei ihr ist reines Vergnügen. Sie fräst feine Linien und Zacken in schüttere Gebiete meines Schädels, wo vor Jahrzehnten noch dichte, prächtige Locken wallten und waberten. Alles vorbei, Leben verrinnt, Haare fallen aus. Was wünschte ich mir, wieder lange Haare zu haben, wenn ich vor den sensationellen Kreationen der Barbershops stehen! Soll ich doch in Sachen Haartransplantation nach Istanbul fahren (mit dem Rad? dem Zug, dem Bus? Flightshaming ist angesagt!!), der Stadt, aus der mir Freunde berichteten, dass es dort ganz besonders günstig sei! Zahlt sich das noch aus bei mir? Wird das meinem Leben noch einmal einen entscheidenden Kick geben?

She does what she can and spending time with her is a pure pleasure. It mills fine lines and jags into thinning areas of my skull where, decades ago, dense, magnificent curls flowed and wavered. It’s all over, life is fading, hair is falling out. How I wish I had long hair again when I’m standing in front of the sensational creations of the barbershops! When it comes to hair transplantation, should I go to Istanbul (by bike? by train, by bus? Flight shaming is popular!!), the city from which friends told me that it was particularly cheap there! Does this still work for me? Will that give my life another decisive kick?
