Was tun? Jeden Morgen überlege ich mir das. Was tun angesichts einer Welt, die völlig zerrissen wird – und zerrissen wurde seit langer Zeit. Panzer rollen, Millionen auf der Flucht, Tote, Verwundete, zerschossene Häuser und Landschaften, Militärbudgets, die in Minuten um 100 Milliarden aufgestockt werden (sicher nicht nur in Deutschland), Waffen-Produzent*innen, die sich die Hände reiben und sich auf die Brust klopfen („Na – Ihr Pazifist*innen-Trottel, was sagts jetzt dazu?“) Was tun angesichts des Wahnsinns? Ist die Welt so wie sie scheint, wie sie mir medial jetzt vorgeführt und erklärt wird? Ist alles klar, erklärbar: so ist es jetzt aber! Ist alles derart fragmentiert und durchlöchert, dass das Nichts alles ist?

Was tun? Kerzen anzünden? Einen Knüppel bereitlegen? Meinen Kopf gegen die Wand schlagen, bis er blutet? Hilft das jemandem außer mir?

Mich wieder mal für die allereinfachste, billigste, völlig und total unnötigste Lösung zum Tagesanfang entschieden: Im Farbkasten spielen.

What to do? I think about that every morning. What to do in the face of a world that is being completely torn apart – and has been torn apart for a long time. Tanks are rolling, millions fleeing, dead, wounded, houses and landscapes shot up, military budgets that are increased by 100 billion in minutes (certainly not only in Germany), weapons manufacturers* who rub their hands and look forward to the Pat your chest (“Well – you pacifist idiots, what do you say to that now?”) What to do in the face of madness? Is the world as it seems, as it is now being presented and explained to me by the media? If everything is clear, explicable: that’s the way it is now! Is everything so fragmented and perforated that nothing is everything?

What to do? Light candles? Ready a stick? Bang my head against the wall until it bleeds? Does this help anyone but me?

Decided once again for the simplest, cheapest, completely and totally unnecessary solution at the beginning of the day: playing in the paint box.
