Maskenkontrolle Der große Maskentest – Einübung für den Maskenball. Splendid Isolation_23. Wien | AT · 2020 (© PP · Ewiges Archiv) Früher – also viel früher, waren die Fahrscheinkontrolleure schwarz gekleidet, schwarze Mäntel, Kappen, Schwarzkappler eben: „Fahrschein-Kontrolle!“ In der Herrenhandtasche dann Blöcke, Ersatzfahrscheine etc. „Vertrauen ist gut, Kontrolle ist besser“ soll Lenin gesagt haben, das nehme ich mir ab + zu zu Herzen und kontrolliere mich dann spontan: „Also Herr Direktor: was hamma denn an MASKEN auf Lager? 10 Minuten Zeit. Los geht’s!“ War recht aufregend gestern bei der Selbstprüfung – aber in der hölzernen Schatzkiste fanden sich dann zumindest ein Stapel bemalter Mickey Mouse-Masken, die ich vor mehr als 30 Jahren in einem „Konkurswaren“-Geschäft in Montreal gekauft hatte, viele davon bemalt für die Animations-Sequenz „History of animated Film“ meines Films „Mont Real“. (ab 05:37) Freu mich, dass ich doch noch einige gefunden habe (ich denke, es waren etwa 50 Phasen-Masken)

Wegschmeißen ist schon ok – aber Aufheben hat auch was! ;-)

Un ballo in maschera (deutsch: Ein Maskenball) – Untertitel Amelia – ist eine Oper in drei Akten von Giuseppe Verdi. Das Libretto von Antonio Somma basiert auf Eugène Scribes Drama Gustave III. ou Le bal masqué. Die Uraufführung fand am 17. Februar 1859 im Teatro Apollo in Rom statt.

Let’s go! ”It was really exciting yesterday during the self-examination – but in the wooden treasure chest there was at least a stack of painted Mickey Mouse masks that I bought more than 30 years ago in a“ bankruptcy goods ”shop in Montreal, many of them painted for the animation sequence “History of animated Film” of my film “Mont Real”. Throwing away is ok – but picking it up also has something! 😉
