Die „Sebastian-Kurz-Story“ – bestmöglich aus dem grandiosen Material des Ewigen Archivs rekonstruiert. Ein luminoses Beispiel dafür, wie ich mein Leben vergeude und ungeachtet dessen in homöpathischen Dosen auf Teilbereiche enorm stolz bin! (Gute, sogar sehr gute Intro!) Ebensee am Traunsee, Kärnten, Wien | AT; Mallorca | ES · 2010–2026 (© s. Text; Tableau © PP · # 3812 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Beim Warten auf die notwendige Reparatur der vorderen Scheibenbremse („muss entlüftet werden!“) meines „VORTRIEB“-Rades in der Bäckerei Hinterwirth bei einem Melange im Einkaufspark Ebensee (am Traunsee), am Gelände der ehemals dortbefindlichen Saline kann ich nach längerer Zeit wieder eine Ausgabe der von mir hochgeschätzen, im Burda Verlag erscheinenden Illustrierten „BUNTE“ durchblättern, das lackierte und sorgfältig montierte Coverbild gustieren und die Berichte begierig tirillieren! Sooo geht Urlaubslektüre! Eine von mir auch sehr geschätzte Galeristin hatte per FB darum gebeten, ihre Vorschläge für entspannende Sommer-Lektüre zu machen – Einer der Vorschläge war dann ein Derivat zum landauf, landab viel gehörten „Die Peter-Thiel-Story-Podcast“. Na Servas – diese Nerven hätte ich nicht. Mein Interesse saugte sich fest an einem mehrseitigen, wunderbar bebilderten Bericht über einen Hochzeits-Empfang den die Industriellen Wolfgang und Gabriele Porsche in Mallorca gaben. Irrsinnig interessant, wirklich schöne Fotos, sehr spezielle Menschen, viel weiße, sommerliche Kleidung, schön arrangierte Tische mit erstaunlichen Dekorationen. Eines der Bilder allerdings zog mich hyperbol an – mit folgendem Textinsert: „PROMINENZ Österreichs Ex-Kanzler Sebastian Kurz (.l) beim Empfang mit Wolfgang und Gabriela Porsche sowie deren Mutter Renate Thyssen-Henne“. Im linken Bildteil: das ist doch – das ist doch Sebastian Kurz!! Er lächelt und hält die Hände übereinander! Ist’s eine Vorstufe zur Segnung? Zum gemeinschaftlichen Gebet? Ich weiß es nicht, halte jedenfalls das überraschende Erscheinen dieses Bildes für eine von oben, von ganz oben an mich gesandte Botschaft, eine Art mediale Bekräftigung für mein irdisches Tun! Sebastian Kurz IST ja Mitarbeiter von Peter Thiel – das ist doch wunderbar, das ist ja eine Fügung gigantischen Ausmaßes! Für Momente bin ich sehr gerührt, fast den Tränen nahe – doch bald fällt mir ein von mir selbst erstelltes Foto ein, auf das ich wahrlich Grund habe, sehr, sehr stolz zu sein: Auf der Fahrt nach Kärnten oder von Kärnten nach Wien fiel mir auf der Autobahn auf einem angrenzenden Hügel ein mit hellen Tüchern, möglicherweise mit Styropor-Platten oder was weiß ich sorgsam gelegter Schriftzug KURZ auf – so groß, dass er weithin leuchtete. Völlig überwältigt konnte ich nicht anders, als nach einem kurzen Blick in den Rückspiegel meine Fahrt drastisch zu verlangsamen, schließlich eher am Rand der Spur einen kurzen Moment anzuhalten und dieses singuläre Foto anzufertigen. Thank me later! Und noch eines, gleichsam als Draufgabe und Beweis für meinen Weitblick im Dienste des Ewigen Archivs: das Wunschkennzeichen W KURZ 1 (leider bissl unscharf, der Aufregung geschuldet) konnte ich bereits im Jahr 2010 dokumentieren! BRAVO!

A shining example of how I’m wasting my life and, despite that, am immensely proud of certain aspects of it in homeopathic doses! (Good, even very good intro!) Ebensee on Lake Traunsee, Carinthia, Vienna | AT; Mallorca | ES · 2010–2026 (© see text; Tableau © PP · # 3812 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Whilst waiting for the necessary repair to the front disc brake (“needs bleeding!”) on my “VORTRIEB” bike at the Hinterwirth bakery over a Melange in the Ebensee shopping centre (on Lake Traunsee), on the site of the salt works that used to stand there, I’m able, for the first time in ages, to leaf through an issue of the magazine ‘BUNTE’ – published by Burda Verlag and held in high regard by me – savour the glossy, carefully assembled cover image and eagerly devour the articles! Now that’s what holiday reading’s all about! A gallery owner whom I also hold in high regard had asked on Facebook for suggestions for relaxing summer reading – one of the suggestions turned out to be a spin-off from the ‘Peter Thiel Story’ podcast, which has been widely talked about far and wide. Well, I wouldn’t have the nerve for that. My interest was immediately drawn to a multi-page, beautifully illustrated feature on a wedding reception hosted by the industrialists Wolfgang and Gabriele Porsche in Mallorca. Incredibly interesting, really lovely photos, very distinctive people, lots of white, summery clothes, beautifully arranged tables with stunning decorations. One of the pictures, however, drew me in like a magnet – with the following caption: “CELEBRITIES: Austria’s former Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (left) at the reception with Wolfgang and Gabriele Porsche and their mother Renate Thyssen-Henne”. In the left-hand part of the picture: that’s – that’s Sebastian Kurz!! He’s smiling and holding his hands one on top of the other! Is it a prelude to a blessing? To a communal prayer? I don’t know, but in any case I regard the surprising appearance of this picture as a message sent to me from above, from right at the top, a sort of spiritual affirmation of my earthly endeavours! Sebastian Kurz IS, after all, a colleague of Peter Thiel – isn’t that marvellous? It’s a stroke of fate on a gigantic scale! For a few moments I’m deeply moved, almost brought to tears – but soon I’m reminded of a photograph I took myself, of which I truly have every reason to be very, very proud: On the journey to Carinthia, or from Carinthia to Vienna, I noticed on the motorway, on a neighbouring hill, the word ‘KURZ’ carefully laid out with bright cloths, possibly polystyrene sheets or who knows what – so large that it shone from afar. Completely overwhelmed, I couldn’t help but, after a quick glance in the rear-view mirror, slow down drastically, eventually pulling over to the side of the lane for a brief moment to take this unique photograph. Thank me later! And here’s another one, as it were, as a bonus and proof of my foresight in the service of the Eternal Archive: I’d already managed to document the personalised number plate W KURZ 1 back in 2010! BRAVO!
