Als Werbeträger und Body Builder: SALE. Montréal | CA · 1988 (© PP · # 2614 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Filmstills aus dem Film „Mont Real“. Auch schon wieder 34 Jahre her, seit ich mit einem aufgeschnittenen Plastik-Einkaufssackerl von JEAN COUTU (einer kanadischen Supermarkt-Kette) als T-Shirt, einer adretten Boxer-Short und dickem Ärmel aus Wellpappe für meinen Film „Mont Real“ in Montréal posierte. Aufnahmestudio für diese Sequenzen war das umfunktionierte Schlafzimmer unserer Wohnung, Kamera eine 16 mm Bolex mit Handaufzug. Der Film entstand während meines einjährigen jährigen Aufenhaltes als artist in residence am Animationsfilm-Department der Concordia University in Montreal / Montréal. Ab und zu wundere ich mich selber, was ich alles für sonderbare Aktivitäten in meinem Leben gemacht habe ;-)

It’s also 34 years since I posed for my film “Mont Real” in Montréal with a cut-open plastic shopping bag from JEAN COUTU (a Canadian supermarket chain) as a T-shirt, neat boxer shorts and thick sleeves made of corrugated cardboard . The recording studio for these sequences was the converted bedroom in our apartment, and the camera was a 16 mm hand-wound Bolex. The film was made during my one-year stay as artist in residence at the animation film department of Concordia University in Montreal / Montréal. From time to time I wonder what kind of strange activities I’ve done in my life 😉
