AT | FR | IT | NL | PL | UK · 1977–2025 (© PP · # 3468 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Spinat & Spiegelei hat Mutti immer gekocht am Gründonnerstag, soweit ich mich erinnern kann und „der Farbenkanon des römischen Ritus sieht Weiß als liturgische Farbe für den Gründonnerstag vor“. Zur Entstehung des Namens gibt’s mindestens vier Thesen, eine davon lautet, dass er sich aus dem „Greinen“ (ahd. grīnan, mhd. grînen, „lachend, winselnd, weinend den Mund verziehen“) der Büßer am Gründonnerstag herleitet. There are at least four theories on the origin of the name, one of which is that it derives from the “Greinen” (ahd. grīnan, mhd. grînen, “laughing, whimpering, weeping with the mouth puckered”) of the penitents on Maundy Thursday.
