Timewarp! Ausstellung Wiener Secession 1976: Peter Putz, Thomas Reinhold, Rainer Wölzl. Wien | AT · 1976 – 2017 (© PP · Ewiges Archiv) Die SW-Aufnahmen entstanden Im Oktober 1976 – vor 41 Jahren – als Thomas Reinhold (www.thomasreinhold.com), Rainer Wölzl (www.woelzl.at) und ich in der Clubgalerie der Wiener Secession ausstellten. Das SW-Foto links wurde für das Plakat zur Ausstellung verwendet, die in der Clubgalerie im Souterrain stattfand – dort, wo heute der Beethovenfries von Gustav Klimt in einem Klimaraum gezeigt wird. Im rechten Foto aus dem Jahr 2013 halten Rainer (der mit dem markanten Schnauzer) und ich das Plakat zur Ausstellung –praktisch kaum gealtert ;-) Kurator der Ausstellung damals seitens der Secession war Hermann Painitz. Das obere mittlere Foto zeigt Malereien von Rainer Wölzl, in der unteren Reihe Zeichnungen und Malereien von mir. Die Eröffnung war dramatisch /turbulent: zwei Bilder von Rainer wurden von einem Besucher zerstört, der mit einem Schlüssel in die Oberfläche der Bilder ritzte. Timewarp! Exhibition Vienna Secession 1976: Peter Putz, Thomas Reinhold, Rainer Wölzl. Vienna | AT · 1976 – 2017 (© PP · Eternal Archives) The BW shots were taken in October 1976 – 41 years ago – as Thomas Reinhold (www.thomasreinhold.com), Rainer Wölzl (www.woelzl.at) and myself in the Clubgalerie exhibited at the Vienna Secession. The SW photo on the left was used for the poster for the exhibition, which took place in the club gallery in the basement – where today the Beethoven Frieze by Gustav Klimt is shown in a climate room. In the right-hand photo from 2013, Rainer (the one with the distinctive Schnauzer) and I hardly ever aged the poster for the exhibition 😉 Curator of the exhibition at that time on the part of the Secession was Hermann Painitz. The upper middle photo shows paintings by Rainer Wölzl, in the lower row drawings and paintings by me. The opening was dramatic / turbulent: two pictures of Rainer were destroyed by a visitor who carved with a key into the surface of the pictures.
