Stillleben mit Käse – zweifach. Amsterdam | NL; Ebensee | AT · 2015–2019 (© PP · Ewiges Archiv) Wenn ich mit dem Rad von Ebensee nach Langwies fahre, auf einem schmalen Weg neben der Traun, komme ich bei einer kleinen (Nebenerwerbs-) Landwirtschaft vorbei. Rechts vom Weg, auf einer Wiese in Flussnähe Ziegen, links Ställe für Hühnern und andere Tiere. Ein kleines Schild mit Hinweis auf Ab-Hof-Verkauf. In einer Garage ein Eiskasten: Ziegenfrischkäse, Eier, Bioziegenwurst, Zirbenschnaps . . Die Preise sind ausgewiesen, das Geld kommt in eine Plastikkiste. Vom Verkauf der Lebensmittel wird sich kein Leben finanzieren lassen. Trotzdem: jedesmal wieder bin ich überrascht, dass es „das“ gibt: Direkt produzierte Lebensmittel in einem Verkauf des kürzesten Weges. Soweit ich es sehe, ist immer Geld in der Kasse. Der Frischkäse ist ausgezeichnet.

Das „Stillleben mit Käse“ das Floris Claesz van Dijck um 1615 gemalt hat, ist mir im Rijksmuseum Amsterdam aufgefallen.

Floris Claesz. van Dyck (* ca. 1575 in Delft; † vor April 1651 in Haarlem) war ein niederländischer Stilllebenmaler. Namensvarianten sind Floris van Dijck, Floris van Dikius und Florentius Dyck. Von Floris van Dyck ist nur ein relativ kleines Œuvre bekannt (13 Gemälde und eine Arbeit in Aquarellmalerei). Er signierte seine Gemälde nur mit dem Monogramm „FVD“, gelegentlich verbunden mit einem „H“ (Harlemensis), und gefolgt durch "Fecit". Seine Gemälde werden zu den Bankettstücken (auch: Banketjes bzw. Ontbijtjes) gezählt. Da mit Banketje bzw. Ontbijtje allerdings nahezu alle Gemälde gemeint sind, die eine mit Nahrungsmitteln und Geschirr beladene Tafel darstellen, wäre eine mehr differenzierte Bezeichnung für die Gemälde wie sie Dyck und Gillis schufen „Schautafel“. Allem Anschein nach wurde Floris van Dyck von den in den flämischen Malern Clara Peeters und Osias Beert beeinflusst. . . (wiki)

Amsterdam | NL; Ebensee | AT · 2015–2019 (© PP · Eternal Archives) When I cycle from Ebensee to Langwies, on a narrow path next to the Traun, I pass a small (part-time) farm. To the right of the path, goats on a meadow near the river, on the left stables for chickens and other animals. A small sign indicating farm sales. An ice box in a garage: goat cream cheese, eggs, organic goat sausage, Swiss pine schnapps. . The prices are shown, the money comes in a plastic box. No life will be financed from the sale of food. Nevertheless: again and again I am surprised that there is “that”: Directly produced food in a direct sale. As far as I can see there is always money in the till. The cream cheese is excellent.

I noticed the “Still Life with Cheese” that Floris Claesz van Dijck painted around 1615 in the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam.

Floris Claesz. van Dyck (* about 1575 in Delft, † before April 1651 in Haarlem) was a Dutch still life painter. Name variants are Floris van Dijck, Floris van Dikius and Florentius Dyck. Only a relatively small oeuvre of Floris van Dyck is known (13 paintings and one work in watercolor painting). He signed his paintings only with the monogram “FVD”, occasionally connected with an “H” (Harlemensis), and followed by “Fecit”. His paintings are counted among the banquet pieces (also: Banketjes or Ontbijtjes). However, since Banketje or Ontbijtje means almost all paintings that represent a table loaded with food and dishes, a more differentiated name for the paintings as Dyck and Gillis created would be “display board”. It appears that Floris van Dyck was influenced by the Flemish painters Clara Peeters and Osias Beert. . . (wiki)
