Stadienarchitektur in den Pyrenäen: „Stade Jean Gaubert“ und „Complexe Sportif E. Lagar. . . “ Auzas | FR · 2012 (© PP · Ewiges Archiv) In die Pyrenäen im Südwesten Frankreichs war ich gekommen, um weitere Aufnahmen für ein Kochbuch von Isabel Habicht zu machen: 2010 hatte ich bei einem Symposium in Paris zum Thema „Literatur und Kulinarik“ einen Vortrag mit Tableaux und Bildmaterial aus dem Ewigen Archiv gehalten: „La Cuisine autrichienne légère“ (Die leichte österreichische Küche) und dabei Fotos und Detailaufnahmen von Leberkäse, Fleischknödeln, Gegrilltem, Schweinsstelzen, Bratwürstel und weiterer Derivate gezeigt und besprochen. Im Anschluss an den Vortrag fragte mich eine Frau aus dem Publikum, ob ich mir vorstellen könnte, ein Kochbuch mit ihr zu fotografieren. Ich war zwar einigermaßen verblüfft, fand die Grundidee des Kochbuches großartig und die Vorstellung, wieder nach Frankreich zu kommen, sehr verlockend und sagte gerne zu. Nach Aufnahmen in Paris und der Normandie war bei dieser Reise ein Aufenthalt bei einer weiteren begnadeten Köchin vorgesehen in Auzas, einem kleinen Ort in den Pyrenäen, ein ziemliches Stück von Toulouse entfernt. Bei der Fahrt dorthin fielen mir diese beiden Beispiele von bescheidener Sportstadien-Architektur auf – kleine Pretiosen nicht nur der „architettura povera“ sondern auch der Erinnerungs-Typographie. Wer mögen wohl Jean Gaubert bzw. E. Lagar . . . (restlichen Buchstaben unleserlich) gewesen sein?

Lagar. , , “Auzas | FR · 2012 (© PP · Eternal Archives) I came to the Pyrenees in the south-west of France to take more pictures for a cookbook by Isabel Habicht: In 2010 I had a lecture at a symposium in Paris on the topic “Literature and Culinary Art” Tableaux and image material from the Eternal Archive: “La Cuisine autrichienne légère” (light Austrian cuisine) and photos and detailed photographs of liver cheese, meat dumplings, grilled meat, pork stilts, sausages and other derivatives shown and discussed. After the lecture, a woman from the audience asked me if I could imagine taking a cookbook with her. Although I was somewhat amazed, I found the basic idea of the cookbook great and the idea of coming back to France very tempting and was happy to accept it. After taking pictures in Paris and Normandy, this trip included a stay with another gifted cook in Auzas, a small town in the Pyrenees, a fair distance from Toulouse. While driving there I noticed these two examples of modest sports stadium architecture – small gems not only of the “architettura povera” but also of the memory typography. Who would like Jean Gaubert or E. Lagar? , , (the remaining letters are illegible)?
