Anmutiger Schwan, 849,00 EUR. Amsterdam | NL; Gmunden, Wien | AT · 2001–2019 (© PP · Ewiges Archiv; bzw. s. Text). Was mich erstaunt und ein wenig ärgert: ich habe kein Foto einer adäquaten kristallenen Kostbarkeit der Fa. Swarovski im Ewigen Archiv bei schneller Suche gefunden – obwohl sicher fotografiert. Daher Verweis auf die firmeneigene Website: „Anmutiger Schwan, 849,00 EUR. „Der Schwan ist seit jeher eine starke Inspirationsquelle für Swarovski. Dieser grazile Vogel ist das perfekte Kultsymbol der Marke, denn es steht für Anmut, Reinheit, Träume und kontinuierliche Neuerung. Die Kreation mit subtilen, schwarzen Kristallakzenten überzeugt in klarem Kristall mit 925 präzise geschliffenen Facetten. . . .“ Die Aufforderung, der (innere) „Befehl“ an mich, dieses Tableau zusammenzustellen, kam vor einiger Zeit im Rijksmuseum Amsterdam im Rahmen der Ausstellung „Rembrandt Velázquez · Dutch and Spanish Masters“ beim Anblick von Jan Asselijns (1600/1616–1652), De bedreigde zwaan, / The threatened swan, ca. 1650 © Rijksmuseum Amsterdam; „ . . Asselijn’s swan, defending its nest with its life. It became the symbol of the murdered Dutch pensionary Johan de Witt. The visual rhythm of the outspread arms and wings, so expansively rendered in white paint, conveys full-hearted surrender.“ (Beipacktext Rijksmuseum). Eine der erstaunlichsten paramimetischen Visualisierungen habe ich allerdings im Jahr 2014 vor der Stadtgartendirektion in Wien gesehen: ein Schwanenpärchen, liebevoll aus einem Konglomerat aus Draht, Polyesterfasern und Leuchtdioden erschaffen, auf einem (Schwanen-)See aus Glassplittern ruhig posierend. (ob. 1. u. 2. Foto v. li.) Das zumindest hatte ich präzise beschlagwortet und konnte ich somit auf Anhieb finden. Das Foto rechts oben hat Sonja Gasparin aufgenommen, vermutlich in der Schweiz (nähere Details dazu erhoffe ich im Lauf des Tages auf Nachfrage zu recherchieren.) Der Papierschwan (ob. 3. v. li.) ist meines Wissens eine Co-Produktion von Hans Kienesberger und Petra Kodym.

What amazes and annoys me a little: I have not found a photo of an adequate crystal treasure of the Fa. Swarovski in the Eternal Archive on a quick search – although certainly photographed. However, one of the most amazing parametric visualizations I have seen in 2014 in front of the Stadtgartendirektion in Vienna: a pair of swans, lovingly created from a conglomeration of wire, polyester fibers and light emitting diodes, posing calmly on a (swan) lake of glass splinters. (if 1. and 2. Photo v. li.) That at least I had accurately worded and I could thus immediately find. The photo on the top right has been taken by Sonja Gasparin, presumably in Switzerland (more details on this I hope in the course of the day to research on demand.)
