Meine schönsten Fußball-Memorabilia. Brussel / Bruxelles / Brüssel | BE; Wien | AT · 1975–2024 (© PP · # 3197 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Das „STEHPLÄTZE SEKTOR“-Bild ist eines der Bilder einer Serie von Aufnahmen, die ich 1975 auf Bitte eines Mitstudenten der Sozialarbeiter-Schule der Gemeinde Wien machte, die ich damals besuchte, um die „soziale Basis“ kennenzulernen, um mehr griffig zu spüren, wie das „Leben der anderen“ so ist – das mir offensichtlich damals – gezeugt in Detroit, geboren in Ebensee, Gymnasium in Bad Ischl – nicht so geläufig schien. Igor D., der Kollege, bat mich also um eines Serie von Fotos, die „reale“ Seiten des Lebens zeigen sollten, wollte daraus einen Diavortrag zusammenstellen, nahm mich mit in völlig heruntergekommene „Gastarbeiter-Pensionen“, ich fotografierte Würstelstände, Gasthäuser, im Warenhaus „Gerngroß“, im Konsum – und eben auch beim Stadion im Prater. STEHPLÄTZE. Leider habe ich nur noch wenige Fotos dieser Serie, die „besseren“ hatte ich ja ihm gegeben, alles Dias, keine Duplikate, keine Scans davon. Das Foto daneben mit der Reihe von Männern in Sporthosen und bloßen Oberkörpern, mit schicken Kronen Zeitung-Aufnähern, das ist eines meiner Alltime-Favorits (insgesamt, alle Bereiche, aus vielen Gründen). Ich machte es in Klagenfurt, als ich mit schwerer, „untypischer“ Lungenentzündung von Krankenhaus zu Krankenhaus zog bzw geschoben wurde. Offensichtlich bei einem kurzen Spaziergang um das Krankenhaus-Gelände. Alle anderen Sticker etc sind mehr oder weniger selbsterklärend, die „AUSTRIANER MIKROP…S“ Illustration am Sticker habe ich aus FB-Gründen eilfertigst selber zensuriert (war eh nur mikroklein), über den Sticker auf roter Glanzfolie rechts daneben denke ich immer wieder nach, der rechts oben zeigt „BEGBIE“, einen Typen aus dem tatsächlich legendären Film Trainspotting, einen Drogendealer. Ah ok.

Brussel / Bruxelles / Brüssel | BE; Wien | AT – 1975-2024 (© PP – # 3197 – www.ewigesarchiv. at) The “STEHPLÄTZE SEKTOR” picture is one of a series of pictures that I took in 1975 at the request of a fellow student at the Vienna Municipal School for Social Work, which I was attending at the time in order to get to know the “social basis”, to get a more tangible sense of what “the lives of others” were like – which obviously didn’t seem so familiar to me at the time – conceived in Detroit, born in Ebensee, grammar school in Bad Ischl. So Igor D., my colleague, asked me for a series of photos that would show the “real” side of life, wanted to put together a slide show from them, took me to completely run-down “guest worker pensions”, I photographed sausage stands, inns, in the “Gerngroß” department stores’, in the Konsum – and also at the stadium in the Prater. STANDING POSTS. Unfortunately, I only have a few photos from this series, the “better” ones I had given to him, all slides, no duplicates, no scans of them. The photo next to it with the row of men in sports shorts and bare upper bodies, with smart Kronen Zeitung patches, is one of my all-time favourites (overall, all areas, for many reasons). I did it in Klagenfurt when I was being moved or pushed from hospital to hospital with severe, “atypical” pneumonia. Obviously during a short walk around the hospital grounds. All the other stickers etc. are more or less self-explanatory, the “AUSTRIAN MICROP…S” illustration on the sticker I hastily censored myself for FB reasons (it was only micro-small anyway), I keep thinking about the sticker on red glossy foil to the right of it, the one at the top right shows “BEGBIE”, a guy from the actually legendary film Trainspotting, a drug dealer. Ah ok.
