Mein Leben mit Dinosauriern. Was ist, wenn die Kreationist*innen doch recht haben? Bad Gleichenberg, Wien | AT · 2002–2011 (© PP · # 2165 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Die Kreationist*innen aller Religionen und Länder sind überzeugt davon, dass die Erde vor rund 6.000 Jahren in sieben Tagen von Gott erschaffen wurde und dass es eine Zeit gab, in der Dinosaurier und Menschen gemeinsam lebten. Ich könnte als Zeuge (fast) herhalten. Natürlich die Dinosaurier im Naturhistorischen Museum, Dinosaurier-Eier beim SPAR in unterschiedlichen Ausführungen, eine Jacke mit Dinosaurier-Muster, Styrassic-Park unbedingt, alle Dinosaurier-Ausstellungen. In der Straßenbahn, nach dem Besuch im Schwimmbad auf der Hohen Warte: Der Dinosaurier ist nicht da! Entsetzlich. Also sofort aussteigen und den ganzen Weg ansuchen. Kann mich nicht mehr erinnern, ob er gefunden worden ist, ich denke aber schon. Unglaublich teure LEGO-Dinosaurier zum Zusammenbauen, Dinos aus Ton, Dinos aus Stoff, Dinos aus Plastik und Beton. Leben ohne Dino? Undenkbar.

Kreationismus (von lateinisch creatio „Schöpfung“) bezeichnet die religiöse Auffassung, dass das Universum, das Leben und der Mensch buchstäblich so entstanden sind, wie es in den Heiligen Schriften der abrahamitischen Religionen und insbesondere in der alttestamentlichen Genesis geschildert wird. Als bedeutende Strömung trat der Kreationismus im frühen 20. Jahrhundert im Bereich des Evangelikalismus in den USA auf, wo er bis heute auch seine größte Verbreitung besitzt. In seiner strengsten Form postuliert er ein Erdalter von einigen Tausend Jahren und geht von der Existenz einer Sintflut aus, bei der die meisten Menschen und Tiere umgekommen seien. Ebenfalls kennzeichnend ist die Ablehnung der Evolutionstheorie.

Im Islam vertritt heute u. a. Harun Yahya den Kreationismus, im Judentum sind es vor allem Anhänger orthodoxer Richtungen.

In the tram, after visiting the swimming pool on the Hohe Warte: the dinosaur is not there! Terrible. So get off immediately and search the whole way. Can’t remember if it was found, but I think so. Incredibly expensive to assemble LEGO dinosaurs, clay dinosaurs, fabric dinosaurs, plastic and concrete dinosaurs. Life without a dinosaur? Unthinkable.

Creationism (from Latin creatio “creation”) describes the religious view that the universe, life and man literally came into being as described in the Holy Scriptures of the Abrahamic religions and especially in the Old Testament Genesis. Creationism emerged as a significant trend in the early 20th century in the area of evangelicalism in the USA, where it is still most widespread today. In its strictest form, it postulates an age of a few thousand years and assumes the existence of a flood in which most of the people and animals perished. The rejection of the theory of evolution is also characteristic.
In Islam today represents, inter alia. Harun Yahya advocates creationism, in Judaism there are mainly followers of orthodox tendencies.
