Johannes und Charlotte Seidl, Künstlerpaar. Maria Schutz, Prigglitz | AT · 1974–2017 (© PP · # 2132 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Das Künstlerehepaar Johannes und Charlotte Seidl lebte und arbeitete seit 1968 zusammen – 2021 starb Johannes Seidl.

Seit 1993 ist das Gut Gasteil Hauptsitz ihres künstlerischen und kulturellen Schaffens. Neben ihrer Arbeit als Austellungsveranstalter und- kuratoren in der Galerie Gut Gasteil sowie bei der zweijährlich stattfindenden "Kunst in der Landschaft", liegt der Schwerpunkt auf der künstlerischen, bildhauerischen Arbeit. Hartgebrannte, glasierte Keramik und Edelstahl sind die bevorzugten Materialien für die Plastiken, Skulpturen, Reliefs und Bilder seit 1972 mit einem gemeinsamen Signum. Johannes malte seit 1999 wieder - vorwiegend Öl auf Holz. Daneben sind die Seidls auch Biobauern und betreiben das Biobuffet als Service für die Galeriebesucher.

Gut Gasteil has been the headquarters of their artistic and cultural work since 1993. In addition to her work as an exhibition organizer and curator in the Gut Gasteil Gallery and the biennial “Art in the Landscape”, the focus is on artistic, sculptural work. Hard-fired, glazed ceramics and stainless steel are the preferred materials for the sculptures, reliefs and pictures since 1972 with a common sign. Johannes painted again since 1999 – mainly oil on wood. The Seidls are also organic farmers and run the organic buffet as a service for gallery visitors.
