Ina Loitzl, Künstlerin und Kunstboxerin. Wien | AT · 2019 (© PP · Ewiges Archiv) Ina Loitzl ist vielseitig und vielfach engagiert – sie arbeitet in den Bereichen Video, Textilobjekte, Scherenschnitt, Zeichnung und Installation und: sie ist trainierte „Kunstboxerin“. In diesem Projekt – ua. im Künstlerhaus Wien präsentiert – setzt sie sich kritisch mit dem Überleben insbesondere von Künstlerinnen in der Kunstwelt auseinander. „Im Film hängen über dem Boxring Preise, die in Wahrheit keine sind – Nominierungen, Finalisten und so weiter. Sie sind aber notwendig. Denn als Künstlerin oder Künstler muss man sich selbst darstellen, um von der Kunst zu leben. Ina Loitzl, artist and art boxer. Vienna | AT · 2019 (© PP · Ewiges Archiv) Ina Loitzl is versatile and often involved – she works in the fields of video, textile objects, paper cutting, drawing and installation and she is a trained “art boxer”. In this project – among others. presented in the Künstlerhaus Wien – she deals critically with the survival especially of artists in the art world. “In the film, prices hang above the boxing ring, which in truth are not – nominations, finalists and so on. But they are necessary. Because as an artist or artist you have to represent yourself in order to live from art.
