Heute ist ganz was SCHRECKLICHES passiert – ein WORST-CASE-Szenario – ein digitaler Super GAU: FACEBOOK-DOWN! Ich (und 600.000 andere) konnte mich nicht mehr zu meinem Facebook-Account durchschlagen! Gmunden, Loosdorf, Untervellach, Wien | AT · 2011–2022 (© PP · # 3087 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Es war sooo schrecklich: Ich konnte nicht auf meine FB-Seite kommen, überhaupt nicht mehr auf FB! Dann wurde ich aufgefordert, mich neu ANZUMELDEN!! Mit nervösen, schwitzenden Fingern gab ich immer und immer wieder mein supergeheimes Passwort ein! Immer: falsch, FALSCH, falsch! OMG! Ich wurde fast NOCH verrückter, als ich eh schon bin! Was mache ich ohne „LIKES“? Wie kann ich mich selber darstellen OHNE FB! Mit dem Kopf schlug ich auf die Tastatur, mit den Fäusten auf den Asphaltboden in meinem Studio. Immer verzweifelter schrie ich in die beginnende Nacht: BITTE liebes FB, BITTE komm zurück! Sperr mich BITTE NICHT schon WIEDER wegen meiner frivolen Postings! (s. gr. Foto rechts!) Bitte! Ich will eh wieder brav sein! Ich bin eh nicht zynisch und/oder sarkastisch! Mit letzter Kraft suchte ich im Netz nach Leidensgenossen*innen! Und siehe da:

Im Netz war dazu Folgendes zu finden:

Wer die Facebook-App öffnet, erhält derzeit (5. März 2024 16:30 Uhr) mitunter die Meldung "Sitzung abgelaufen. Bitte melde dich erneut an." Ein erneuter Login ist aber nicht möglich. Dieser wird uns in der Redaktion mit der Meldung "Falsches Passwort" verweigert. Offenbar kein Einzelfall ähnliche Berichte finden sich zahlreich in unserem Störungsmelder zu Facebook als auch auf X (ehemals Twitter). Grund hierfür ist offenbar eine Störung auf den Servern des Meta-Konzern, zu dem Facebook gehört. Diese betrifft nicht nur Facebook, sondern auch weitere Dienste wie Instagram, den Facebook Messenger und Threads. WhatsApp scheint hingegen noch nicht beeinträchtigt zu sein. Auf dem Status-Dashboard für die Business-Produkte des Meta-Konzerns hat das Unternehmen inzwischen ein Problem mit dem Facebook-Login bestätigt. Das Entwicklerteam untersucht dieses aktuell aktiv und versucht es so schnell wie möglich zu beheben. „We are aware of an issue impacting Facebook Login. Our engineering teams are actively looking to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.“ Meta

Das Bild rechts unten ist vom großartigen Künstler und Maler Hans Kienesberger: „FACBOK“, 2013, Eitempera und Bleistift auf Leinwand, 50 x 70 cm, aus dem Katalog „Dwarfs & Giants 2012–‘14“ (s. links), das SW-Foto mit der „GEFÄLLT MIR“ Bacardi Werbung wurde im Kärntnerischen Untervellach von Hannes Flaschberger aufgenommen, die riesige „GEFÄLLT MIR“ Werbung (li. ob.) auf einem Industriegebäude von mir bei Loosdorf – auf der Autobahn aus dem fahrenden Auto heraus! Der Ewige Archivar scheut kein Risiko . . . ;-)

Today, something really TERRIBLE happened – a WORST-CASE scenario – a digital super GAU: FACEBOOK-DOWN! I (and 600,000 others) could no longer get through to my Facebook account! Gmunden, Loosdorf, Untervellach, Vienna | AT – 2011-2022 (© PP – # 3087 – www.ewigesarchiv.at) It was sooo terrible: I couldn’t get to my FB page, couldn’t get on FB at all! Then I was asked to REGISTER again!!! With nervous, sweaty fingers I entered my super secret password over and over again! Always: wrong, WRONG, wrong! OMG! I was almost going EVEN crazier than I already was! What am I doing without “LIKES”? How can I represent myself WITHOUT FB! I banged my head on the keyboard, my fists on the asphalt floor of my studio. More and more desperately I screamed into the beginning night: PLEASE dear FB, PLEASE come back! PLEASE do NOT block me AGAIN because of my frivolous postings! (see big photo on the right!) Please! I want to be good again anyway! I’m not cynical and/or sarcastic anyway! With the last of my strength, I searched the net for fellow sufferers! And lo and behold:
I found the following on the net:
Anyone who opens the Facebook app currently (March 5, 2024 4:30 pm) sometimes receives the message “Session expired. Please log in again.” However, it is not possible to log in again. This is denied to us in the editorial office with the message “Incorrect password”. Apparently, this is not an isolated case – similar reports can be found in our Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) incident alerts. The reason for this is apparently a fault on the servers of the Meta Group, to which Facebook belongs. This affects not only Facebook, but also other services such as Instagram, Facebook Messenger and Threads. WhatsApp, on the other hand, does not yet appear to be affected. The company has now confirmed a problem with the Facebook login on the status dashboard for the Meta Group’s business products. The development team is currently actively investigating this and trying to fix it as quickly as possible. “We are aware of an issue impacting Facebook Login. Our engineering teams are actively looking to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.” Meta
