Französisch-/Österreichische Fahne – 100-teilig: Die Summe ist mehr als die Teile. SEULEMENT LA FOLIE SAUVE (Nur Wahnsinn rettet) AT | FR | UK · 2001–2022 (© PP · # 2407 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Die logistische „Herausforderung“ bei dieser rührend/romatischen Farb-Bastelarbeit bestand weniger im Zusammensuchen und Sortieren der Fotos, sondern darin, dass die Farbstreifen bei der französischen Fahne senkrecht angeordnet sind und bei der östRReichischen horizontal – aber das hat mir nicht gefallen bzw. hätte nicht in das „Konzept“ gepasst. Zum Glück ist mir eingefallen, dass zB. am 1. Mai oder bei Beflaggungen mit langen Fahnen die Streifen auch vertikal stehen.

Erstaunliches Konzept, dass Ländern, Nationen Farben zugeordnet sind!? Und im Zeichen der Fahne Kriege geführt werden – wobei, dann gehts natürlich nicht mehr um Farben. Sondern um Zerstörung, Umbringen . . .

Dieses multinationale Tableau soll das Ankündigungsbild für meinen seit zwei Jahren immer wieder verschobenen Vortrag in Paris im Juni 2022 sein: „Les archives éternelles – eine Enzyklopädie der Wirklichkeiten“. So er denn diesmal stattfinden wird.

Der Sticker „SEULEMENT LA FOLIE SAUVE“ (Nur der Wahnsinn rettet) fand sich auf einem Fernrohr auf der Aussichtsplattform des Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile, des „Triumphbogens“ in Paris. Ich bin für weniger Triumpfe und mehr Frieden.

SEULEMENT LA FOLIE SAUVE (Only madness saves) AT | FR | UK · 2001-2022 (© PP · # 2407 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) The logistical “challenge” with this touching/romantic color handicraft was not so much finding and sorting the photos, but rather the fact that the color stripes on the French flag are arranged vertically and horizontally in the case of the Austrian one – but I didn’t like that or it wouldn’t have fitted into the “concept”. Luckily it occurred to me that eg. on May 1st or when flags are displayed with long flags, the stripes are also vertical.
Amazing concept that countries, nations are assigned colors!? And wars are waged under the sign of the flag – although then, of course, it’s no longer about colors. But about destruction, killing. . .
This multinational tableau is intended to be the announcement image for my lecture in Paris in June 2022, which has been postponed for two years: “Les archives éternelles – an encyclopedia of realities”. So it will take place this time.
The sticker “SEULEMENT LA FOLIE SAUVE” (Only madness saves) was found on a telescope on the viewing platform of the Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile, the “Triumphal Arch” in Paris. I am for less triumphs and more peace.
