Möchtest Du meine ÖVP-Logo-Sammlung sehen? Alles selber gesammelt!! Ebensee, Wien, Villach | AT · 1982–2021 (© PP · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Sicher – es wird mit der Zeit, mit dem Alter und der Glatze schwerer, Hinweise auf die Pokémon-Figuren-Sammlung (des Sohns), auf das bescheidene Kuriositäten-Kabinett erzeugen bestenfalls mitleidiges Lächeln. Die wilden Zeiten der WG und der dichten Locken längst vorbei. Aber – der letzte Trumpf zeigt (ab und zu) seine Wirkung (bzw.: „a bissl was geht immer wieder“): Die un-pack-bare ÖVP-Logo-Sammlung: da leuchten die Augen, da überzieht blitzartig ein Strahlen das Antlitz! Ungläubiges Staunen! „Dann komm doch mit!“ Natürlich nicht, ohne ein vorbereitetes Formular ausfüllen und unterzeichnen lassen (freiwillig! in bester Absicht etc.) eh klar. Dann geht’s los: „Schau – das Logo in grün mit Punkt!“ „Boah – in 3 D!!“ „Das V als Victory-Finger!“ Usw. Oft ergeben sich tiefe Gespräche, bescheidene Anekdoten können aufgetischt werden. „Ich erinnere mich sooo gut . . .“ werfe ich dann oft ein, „wie Neville Brody für den ORF beim ReDesign 1994 das neue ORF Logo mit dem fetten „ORF-Font“ im roten Balken („Ziegel“) präsentiert hat – da haben dann die „Creativen“ der ÖVP in der nächsten Woche auch ein neues Logo vorgestellt. Halt ÖVP und nicht ORF – aber in der gleichen Schrift und im schwarzen Balken.“ . . . Und so weiter und so fort.

Was besonders schön ist: wie sich die Begeisterung für die „Neue Volkspartei“ sogar bis zu den Imbiss-Stuben weiterträgt! (re. unten) Sehr berührend. Sehr, sehr schön. Sehr Blümerant.

The wild days of the commune and the thick curls are long gone. But – the last trump card shows (from time to time) its effect (or: “a little something works again and again”): The unpackable ÖVP logo collection: the eyes light up, a lightning flashes over it Face! Incredible amazement! “Then come with me!” Of course not, without filling out a prepared form and having it signed (voluntarily! With the best of intentions, etc.) anyway. Then it starts: “Look – the logo in green with a dot!” “Wow – in 3 D !!” “The V as victory finger!” Etc. Often there are deep conversations, modest anecdotes can be served. “I remember it so well. . . ”I often throw in,“ how Neville Brody presented the new ORF logo with the bold “ORF font” in the red bar (“brick”) for the ORF at the 1994 redesign – then the “creatives” of the ÖVP have it also presented a new logo in the next week. Stop ÖVP and not ORF – but in the same font and in the black bar. ” . . And so on.
What is particularly nice: how the enthusiasm for the “New People’s Party” even carries on to the snack bars! (bottom right) Very touching. Very very nice. Very bloomerant.
