Coney Island Revisited. New York City | US · 1995 (© PP · Ewiges Archiv) Bei Zusammenstellen des ersten Tableaus habe ich mich erinnert, dass ich vor mehr als 25 Jahren wesentlich mehr Fotos gemacht hatte als ich nun in der Bilddatenbank unter dem Schlagwort „Coney Island“ fand. Sollte ich es dabei bewenden lassen, dass eben nur mehr ein kleiner Teil der Aufnahmen vorhanden war? Keineswegs – also Schränke mit den Diaschachteln geöffnet, Negativhüllen gesichtet, Dias aus den Projektionsschienen, umgeordnet. Nach einigen Stunden tatsächlich wieder 5 Negative gefunden. Noch immer nicht alle – aber immerhin: Erleichterung der Pein – Aufatmen. Der Archivar ist eine Zeitlang zufrieden. Ahhhhh. Verscannen lassen und hier die nächste Version.

New York City | US · 1995 (© PP · Eternal Archives) When I put together the first tableau I remembered that I had taken more photos more than 25 years ago than I found in the image database under the keyword “Coney Island”. Should I leave it at the same time that only a small part of the recordings was left? Not at all – that is, cupboards with the slide boxes open, negative covers sighted, slides from the projection rails, rearranged. After a few hours, 5 negatives were found again. Still not all – but still: relief from the pain – a sigh of relief. The archivist is content for a while. Ahhhhh. Have it scanned and here is the next version.
