Going to the Max! Knock Out in der ersten Runde! Wien | AT · 1973–2020 (© PP · Ewiges Archiv) Das SW-Foto aus dem Prater, das ich vor fast 50 Jahren gemacht habe, ist ein recht beachtlicher „Schnappschuss“: Der Mann mit Brille im weißen Hemd mit Muster auf der Vorderseite hat alles gegeben, er hat den Lederball in das Aufnahmeteil des Apparates zurückgeschlagen, sein rechtes Bein ist noch in der Luft, er wird sich noch ein Stück zum Gerät bewegen, bevor sein Körper wieder zur Ruhe kommt und der Zeiger auf der runden Mess-Skala die Schlagstärke anzeigen wird. Am linken Rand des Bildes im Vordergrund ein Kind, dahinter ein Mann mit über die Schulter gelegtem Pullover, Zigarette in der linken Hand, den Körper leicht geneigt, sein Blick anerkennend, kritisch.

Der Apparat auf der rechten Seite des Tableaus scheint sehr ähnlich dem auf dem SW-Foto zu sein, die Geräteform ist fast ident, die Relief-Pfeile sind anders, die Automaten in der unteren Reihe sind etwas neuerer Bauart, allerdings auch schon bejahrt, obwohl erst 2020 oder in früheren Jahren fotografiert.

An den Kraftmaschinen, an die ich mich im Kirtag Ebensee erinnere, waren zusätzlich zu den Zahlen auch noch Begriffe wie „Schwächling“, „Anfänger“, „Muttersöhnchen“, „Champion“, „Weltmeister“ etc. zu lesen.
