Agfa ISOLETTE II vs. iPhone 15: Extrem-Test unter verschärften Bedingungen! Wien | AT · 2023 (© PP · # 2939 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Apple hat vor wenigen Tagen die sicher exorbitant sensationellen neuen iPhones 15 vorgestellt – erhältlich in Pastelltönen von Himmelblau bis Rosarot! Welchen besseren Anlass könnte es für einen Test der Agfa ISOLETTE II, der „Hasselblad des kleinen Mannes/der kleinen Frau“ denn geben!? Tante Helga hatte mich vor einigen Monaten gefragt, ob ich mir die hinterlassenen Fotoapparate von Onkel Hans, ihres verstorbenen Mannes, anschauen möchte – keine Frage, natürlich wollte ich das. Im Karton mit verschiedenen Apparaten auch eine schmale Klappkamera. Mein Freund Hannes Flaschberger, international agierender Schauspieler, hatte mir von dieser Kamera erzählt und mir eine schnelle Einschulung im Umgang damit gegeben, mein Nachbar, der Fotograf Stefan Liewehr gab mir eine Schachtel mit Ektachrome 160 T Farbumkehrfilmen, die allerdings schon 2003 abgelaufen, für Aufnahmen unter Kunstlicht gedacht waren und nur eine relativ geringe Lichtempfindlichkeit von 160 ASA/ISO hatten. Die Agfa ISOLETTE II ist eine Mittelformat-Kamera, also für 120-Rollfilm geeignet mit einem Negativformat von 6 x 6 cm. Der Rollfilm muss in die Kamera eingelegt und mittels Rändelrad fortbewegt werden, sämtliche Einstellungen wie Entfernung, Blende und Belichtungszeit müssen manuell eingestellt werden. Die Sucher-Kamera muss vor der Aufnahme auf-, der Balgen mit Objektiv herausgeklappt werden. Die Belichtungsmessung erfolgte mit einem Minolta-Belichtungsmesser, die Aufnahmen wurden mit offener Blende 4,5 und einer Belichtungszeit von 1/25 Sekunde ohne Stativ gemacht. Entwicklung des vor 20 Jahren abgelaufenen Films und Scan durch cyberlab. Die blaustichigen, etwas unterbelichteten Portrait-Aufnahmen von Stefan Liewehr (rechts) und mir sind die ersten Ergebnisse! Ich wollte unbedingt eine „Andre-Heller-Position“ mit Kinn auf die Hand gestützt einnehmen! ;-) Ich halte die ersten Ergebnisse für sensationell! Die Agfa ISOLETTE II hat das Potential, eine meiner Lieblings-Kameras zu werden!

What better reason could there be to test the Agfa ISOLETTE II, the “Hasselblad of the little man/woman”!? A few months ago, Aunt Helga asked me if I would like to look at the cameras that Uncle Hans, her late husband, left behind – no question, of course I wanted to. In the box with various cameras there was also a slim folding camera. My friend Hannes Flaschberger, an international actor, told me about this camera and gave me a quick lesson in how to use it. My neighbor, the photographer Stefan Liewehr, gave me a box of Ektachrome 160 T color reversal films, which had already expired in 2003, for taking photos were intended to be used under artificial light and only had a relatively low light sensitivity of 160 ASA/ISO. The Agfa ISOLETTE II is a medium format camera, i.e. suitable for 120 roll film with a negative format of 6 x 6 cm. The roll film must be inserted into the camera and moved using the knurled wheel; all settings such as distance, aperture and exposure time must be set manually. The viewfinder camera must be opened and the bellows with lens must be folded out before taking the picture. The exposure was measured using a Minolta light meter; the photographs were taken with an open aperture of 4.5 and an exposure time of 1/25 second without a tripod. Development of the film that expired 20 years ago and scanning by cyberlab. The bluish, slightly underexposed portrait photos of Stefan Liewehr (right) and me are the first results! I really wanted to do an “Andre Heller position” with my chin resting on my hand! 😉 I think the first results are sensational! The Agfa ISOLETTE II has the potential to become one of my favorite cameras!
