Weltrekordversuch und/oder Skulptur im öffentlichen Raum!? Wien | AT · 2019 (© PP · # 2153 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Auch zwei Jahre nach der Besichtigung bin ich immer noch unschlüssig: handelte es sich um das Ergebnis eines Weltrekordversuches für den Eintrag ins G-Book of Worldrecords – Wieviel E-Scooter passen in eine Telefonzelle – um ein Training im Vorbeigehen sozusagen, zum Aufwärmen? Oder war’s doch eine temporäre Skulptur im öffentlichen Raum? Eine Aktion der Spaßguerilla? Sehr beachtlich fand bzw. finde ich immer noch die sehr überlegte Farbgestaltung – sowohl „hive-Scooter“ als auch Corporate-Color der Telefonzelle in erhebendem Maigrün! A propos – was ist eigentlich aus den „hive-Scootern“ geworden? Die sind ja schon wieder verschwunden. Auf welchem Schrottplatz bzw. Landfill stauen sie sich jetzt?

Vienna | AT 2019 (© PP # 2153 www.ewigesarchiv.at) Even two years after the visit, I am still undecided: Was it the result of a world record attempt for entry in the G-Book of Worldrecords – How many e-scooters fit in a phone booth – for a workout in passing, so to speak, to warm up? Or was it a temporary sculpture in public space after all? A fun guerrilla action? I found the well-considered color scheme to be very remarkable – both the “hive scooter” and the corporate color of the telephone booth in uplifting May green! Speaking of which – what happened to the “hive scooters”? They have already disappeared again. In which junkyard or landfill are they now stuck?
