Sexmuseum Amsterdam: die kinematographischen Gerätschaften und Apparaturen! Amsterdam | NL · 2022 (© PP · # 3752 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Eine meiner Dienstreisen im Auftrag des Ewigen Archivs führte mich weiland auch nach Amsterdam, mit dem spezifischen Auftrag, die im dortigen Sexmuseum exponierten kinematographischen Apparate, Gerätschaften, Vorrrichtungen einer exakten Beobachtung zu unterziehen, zu erforschen und zu dokumentieren. Ein Paradies für Freund*innen des Voyeurismus und der Vorstufen des Kinos, der Bewegtbilder, ja: der „timebased Medien“! Stereoskop-Betrachter, Duoscope, Mutoscope, Guck- und Schaukästen. Ich durfte auch beobachten, mit welcher Sorgfalt Mitarbeiter*innen des Sexmuseums die Exponate abstaubten, reinigten, polierten! Mit großer Freude und auch: gewissem Stolz konnte ich einen „Eumig P8 phonomatic novo“ Filmprojektor sehen und fotografieren (untere Reihe, 2. Bild) – ein Projektor aus traditionsreicher österreichischer Produktion (leider nicht mehr aktiv!). Der beigestellte Text: „Loving Dollies“ was one of the first black and white pornographic movies produced in the Netherlands. It was produced in the late sixties by Willem de Gier who was arrested and sentenced to three years imprisonment for it.“

Amsterdam | NL · 2022 (© PP · # 3752 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) One of my business trips on behalf of the Eternal Archive took me to Amsterdam, with the specific task of closely observing, researching, and documenting the cinematographic apparatus, equipment, and devices exhibited in the Sex Museum there. A paradise for friends of voyeurism and the precursors of cinema, of moving images, indeed: of „time-based media“! Stereoscope viewers, duoscopes, mutoscopes, peep boxes, and display cases. I also had the opportunity to observe the care with which the Sex Museum staff dusted, cleaned, and polished the exhibits! With great joy and also a certain pride, I was able to see and photograph an „Eumig P8 phonomatic novo“ film projector (bottom row, 2nd picture) – a projector from a long-established Austrian manufacturer (unfortunately no longer in operation!).
