Künstliches Sterben (KS). AT | CA | FR | IT | UK · 1991–2025 (© PP · # 3633 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Alle reden von Künstlicher Intelligenz (ich auch), keine(r) weiß, wie dramatisch sich das auf unser Leben auswirken wird bzw. schon jetzt auswirkt (ich auch nicht). Wie sind die Folgen von KI auf den Tod, auf das Sterben? Klar scheint zumindest mir, dass die Hauptanwendungsbereiche im militärisch-industriellen Komplex liegen: noch perfektere Überwachungs- und Identifizierungs-Systeme, Search- & Destroy-Instrumente, Drohnensteuerungen, Armeen von Kampfrobotern. Die Milliarden-Profiteure: AI-Firmen und deren Aktionär*innen, Rüstungskonzerne. Die bunten KI-Kreationen und KI-generierten Porno- und Tierfilmchen die täglich und permanent die Sozialen Medien und durchspülen, sind im Dienste der Zerstreuung unterwegs – billiges Eyecandy, lustige Augenzuckerl, die vom Wesentlichen ablenken.

Artificial Death (KS). AT | CA | FR | IT | UK · 1991–2025 (© PP · # 3633 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Everyone is talking about artificial intelligence (me too), but no one knows how dramatically it will affect our lives or is already affecting them (me neither). What are the consequences of AI for death and dying? It seems clear to me, at least, that the main areas of application lie in the military-industrial complex: even more perfect surveillance and identification systems, search and destroy instruments, drone controls, armies of combat robots. The billion-dollar profiteers: AI companies and their shareholders, arms manufacturers. The colourful AI creations and AI-generated porn and animal films that flood social media every day are there to distract us – cheap eye candy, funny eye candy that distracts us from the essentials.
