Während meines Studiums an der Angewandten in der Meisterklasse von Oswald Oberhuber stellte ich eines Tages meine Normal-8 mm Kamera und eine Filmleuchte in der Klasse auf und nahm nacheinander alle Studierenden und Lehrbeauftragten auf, die in den Raum kamen – darunter auch die Künstlerinnen Martha Jungwirth und Helga Philipp, die Assistentin in der Klasse von Herbert Tasquil war, bei dem ich ein Jahr studiert hatte. Als Helga Philipp die Kamera und Filmleuchte sah, drehte sie auf dem Absatz um und ging sofort zurück. Die Sequenz mit ihr dauert 50 frames, rund drei Sekunden (die Frequenz bei N8 ist 18 Bilder/sek).

Helga Philipp und ihre großartigen Arbeiten schätzte und schätze ich sehr.

One day during my studies at the Angewandte in Oswald Oberhuber’s master class, I set up my standard 8 mm camera and a film light in the classroom and took pictures of all the students and lecturers who came into the room one after the other – including the artists Martha Jungwirth and Helga Philipp, who was an assistant in the class of Herbert Tasquil, with whom I had studied for a year. When Helga Philipp saw the camera and film light, she turned on her heel and immediately went back. The sequence with her lasts 50 frames, around three seconds (the frequency at N8 is 18 frames/sec).
I really appreciated and still appreciate Helga Philipp and her great work.
