Hand und Handy. Bad Ischl, Grasberg, Langwies, Wien | AT · 2013–2016 (© PP · # 2706 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Ich lag spätnachts bzw. frühmorgens in der Badewanne, als mein Handy läutete. Ich sprang sofort aus der Badewanne und wollte zum Schlafzimmer laufen, in dem das Telefon lag, rutschte aber mit den nassen Füßen aus und fiel auf meine Hand. Blitzartiger, totaler Schmerz. Ich rappelte mich hoch, lief zum Zimmer, griff zum Telefon: Meine Mutter, die am Tag zuvor ins Krankenhaus gekommen war, weil sie gestürzt war und sich den Arm gebrochen hatte, fragte mich, wo sie denn sei, was los wäre. Bei Tagesanbruch fuhr ich dann in die Ambulanz des Krankenhauses, in dem sie lag: mein Ringfinger war gebrochen (Foto li. ob.).

I immediately jumped out of the bathtub and tried to run to the bedroom where the phone was, but slipped on my wet feet and fell on my hand. Lightning, total pain. I got up, ran to the room, grabbed the phone: my mother, who had come to the hospital the day before because she had fallen and broken her arm, asked me where she was, what was going on. At daybreak I drove to the ambulance of the hospital where she was lying: my ring finger was broken (photo top left).
