Ghost-Trainspotting. Gute Nachrichten für Autofahrer*innen & Autoindustrielle! Keine Angst, „FUXX-YOU-GRETA-T-Shirt-Träger*innen“, es wird sich gar nichts ändern, es bleibt alles beim Alten, ewig und noch einen Tag! Vorher geht die Welt in Flammen auf! Da fährt die Eisenbahn drüber. Ledenitzen/Ledince, Linz, St. Valentin | AT · 1979–2023 (© PP · 2884 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Ich kann mich nicht mehr erinnern, was mich dazu veranlasst hat, 1979 am kleinen Bahnhof Ledenitzen/Ledince in der Nähe des Faaker Sees in Kärnten den letzten Waggon eines Auto-Transporters mit einem Opel Ascona(?) am Ladedeck zu fotografieren. Eines scheint jedenfalls gewiss: Kostbare Körper werden weiterhin vornehmlich im MIV – dem Motorisierten-Individual-Verkehr – bewegt, es hat sich nichts geändert und wird sich aller Voraussicht nach gar nichts ändern. In alle Ewigkeit, Amen:

In Deutschland sind im ersten Halbjahr 2023 deutlich mehr Autos verkauft worden als im Vorjahreszeitraum. Von Anfang Januar bis Ende Juni wurden gut 1,4 Millionen Autos neu zugelassen, wie das Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) mitteilt. In any case, one thing seems certain: precious bodies will continue to be moved primarily in MIV – motorized individual transport – nothing has changed and in all likelihood nothing will change.
