Die ganz großen Zahlen durch die Welt tragen und ein Einkauf um 6,66 Euro! Nachschlag: Wieviel Geld einem Bettler geben? Wien | AT · 2016–2023 (© PP · # 2919 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Eines der Ziele, die ich (noch) habe: Alle Ziffern von 1 bis 0 und alle Buchstaben des Alphabetes als Helium-gefüllte Luftballons, die von Passant*innen durch die Stadt getragen werden, zu fotografieren. Vorbild ist selbstverständlich ein Leporello von Cornelius Kolig, in dem er gedruckte Polaroidfotos von geschi · · enen Ziffern versammelte und das ein Teil der Sammlung des Ewigen Archivs ist, um es exakt zu schreiben: die Nummer 53/110 der Auflage. Dieses vorliegende Tableau ist also nur als Zwischenbericht zu sehen. Angeregt dazu wurde ich, als ich gestern erstmals versuchte, einigermaßen exakt meine monatlichen Fixkosten tabellarisch zu erfassen und erstaunt war, wie hoch sie sind und ich demnach im Grunde mein Leben nicht mehr weiterführen kann. Wenig später, beim Bezahlen meines gestrigen Einkaufs im Supermarkt, wies mich der Mann an der Kassa erstaunt auf die Summe hin: 6,66 Euro! Die Zahl des Antichristen, des Bösen! Ich war natürlich begeistert über diesen Hinweis und es ergab sich ein kurzes Gespräch über diese magische Zahl, die ihm, dem Kassier, großes Unglück gebracht hatte: Am Tag, als diese Ziffernfolge bei ihm (unter mir unbekannten Umständen) in seinem Leben auftauchte, hatte er einen schweren Unfall mit Beinverletzung! Den Kassazettel nahm ich selbstverständlich mit. Unabhängig davon gab ich einem Bettler, der beim Ausgang des Supermarktes stand, dem ich schon jahrelang begegne, dem ich immer wieder etwas gebe, der mir allerdings durch seine spezifisch aufdringliche Art besonders lästig erscheint, dem gab ich gestern 1.50 Euro und dachte mir dann beim Nachhauseweg: Eigentlich hättest ihm am Vorabend eines Feiertages doch zwei Euro geben können, obwohl er so ein aufdringlicher Typ ist. Naja. usw. usw.

The model is, of course, a leporello by Cornelius Kolig, in which he collected printed polaroid photos of figures that had been made and which is part of the Eternal Archives collection, to be precise: number 53/110 of the edition. This tableau is therefore only to be seen as an interim report. I was inspired to do this when I tried yesterday for the first time to tabulate my monthly fixed costs with some accuracy and was amazed at how high they are and, as a result, I can basically no longer go on with my life. A little later, when I was paying for what I bought yesterday in the supermarket, the man at the checkout, amazed, pointed out the sum: 6.66 euros! The number of the Antichrist, the evil one! Of course, I was enthusiastic about this tip and a short conversation ensued about this magic number, which had brought him, the cashier, great misfortune: on the day when this sequence of digits appeared in his life (under circumstances unknown to me). he had a serious accident with a leg injury! Of course I took the receipt with me. Irrespective of this, I gave a beggar who was standing at the exit of the supermarket, whom I have met for years, who I always give something to, but who seems particularly annoying to me due to his specific pushy manner, yesterday I gave him 1.50 euros and then thought about it Way home: Actually, you could have given him two euros on the eve of a holiday, even though he’s such a pushy guy. Oh well. etc. etc.
