Das 1.000. Tableau online: „Dr. Strangelove“ im Wienfluss-Kanal! Wien | AT · 2019 (© PP · Ewiges Archiv – bitte Bild anklicken für volle Ansicht und links zum Thema) Als ich die Bauarbeiten bei der U4 Margaretengürtel beobachtete, war mir sofort klar, dass es sich um ein präzises „Re-Enactment“ der legendären Introsequenz aus Stanley Kubricks „Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb“ aus 1964 handeln musste! Die nahezu 2 Minuten lange Sequenz zeigt das Betanken eines B 52 Bombers in der Luft – der lange, schnorchelartige Füllstutzen des Tankflugzeuges steckt im Fülltrichter des Bombers, beide Flugzeuge „schweben“ dahin, soundtrack dazu der R&B-song „Try A Little Tenderness“, darüber spulen sich die exquisit handgeschriebenen Credits ab. Eine erotisch/sexuell aufgeladene Begegnung von fliegenden „Kriegsindustrien“, wie Alexander Kluge die Bomber nannte, deren Bombenteppiche er als 13-jähriges Kind erlebte bzw. überlebte. (s. link „Das Ewige Archiv · ordnen und geordnet werden“). „Dr. Seltsam oder: Wie ich lernte, die Bombe zu lieben“, so der deutsche Titel, ist ein satirischer Film von Stanley Kubrick aus dem Jahr 1964 über den Kalten Krieg und die nukleare Abschreckung. Der Film schildert, wie der geistesgestörte US-Air-Force-General Jack D. Ripper auf eigene Faust versucht, einen Atomkrieg gegen die Sowjetunion auszulösen, indem er den ihm unterstellten B-52-Bombern auf dem Luftwaffenstützpunkt Burpelson den Befehl zum Angriff erteilt. Ripper ist von einem sowjetischen Geheimplan überzeugt, dem er zuvorkommen will; angeblich sollen die „wertvollen Körpersäfte“ der Menschen in den USA unter anderem durch Fluoridierung des Trinkwassers zersetzt werden.“ (wiki) Ein im besten Sinne wahnwitziger Film mit Peter Sellers in drei Rollen.

Kurz nachdem ich das Andocken der riesigen, spinnenartigen Betonpumpe an den Beton-Mischwagen gesehen hatte, fand ich, dass daraus ein „würdiges“ Tableau zur Feier des 1.000-en Uploads auf die Website des Ewigen Archivs entstehen könnte! Here we go: 1.000 Tableaux, Videos, Essays, Kataloge in einer umfangreichen, frei und öffentlich zugänglichen Datenbank mit einer Vielzahl an Suchmöglichkeiten, etwa nach Schlagworten, Jahren, Orten und Farben, mit Volltextsuche und meist zahlreichen internen und externen links. Dass ich seit kurzem nicht direkt die Tableaux in Facebook poste hat zum einen den Grund dahin, dass ich natürlich auf die Website des Ewigen Archivs aufmerksam machen und dorthin „verführen“ will, aber auch rechtliche Gründe: Laut den Bedingungen, die jede(r) Benutzer*in von Facebook akzeptieren muss, geheh die vollen Rechte jedes direkt „upgeloadeten“ Bildes, Videos und Textes an Facebook, das damit machen kann, was es will, auch weiterverkaufen etc. Das gilt aber nicht, wenn „nur“ ein link gepostet wird.

The almost 2 minute long sequence shows the refueling of a B 52 bomber in the air – the long, snorkel-like filler neck of the tanker is in the hopper of the bomber, both planes “float” there, soundtrack to the R & B song “Try A Little Tenderness”, The exquisitely handwritten credits spool off. An erotic / sexually charged encounter of flying “war industries”, as Alexander Kluge called the bombers, whose bomb carpets he experienced as a 13-year-old child or survived. (see link “The Eternal Archive · arrange and order”). “Dr. Strange or: How I learned to love the bomb, “says the German title, is a satirical film by Stanley Kubrick in 1964 about the Cold War and nuclear deterrence. The film tells how dysfunctional US Air Force General Jack D. Ripper is trying on his own to launch a nuclear war against the Soviet Union by ordering the subordinate B-52 bombers at Burpelson Air Force Base to attack. Ripper is convinced of a Soviet secret plan that he wants to anticipate; allegedly the “valuable humors” of the people in the United States are to be decomposed, inter alia, by fluoridation of drinking water. “(wiki) A crazy film in the best sense with Peter Sellers in three roles.
Shortly after I saw the docking of the huge, spidery concrete pump on the concrete mixing wagon, I found that it could make a “worthy” tableau to celebrate the 1,000th upload to the Eternal Archive’s website! Here we go: 1,000 tableaux, videos, essays, catalogs in an extensive, free and publicly accessible database with a variety of search options, such as keywords, years, places and colors, with full-text search and mostly numerous internal and external links. The fact that I have not been posting the tableaux on Facebook recently has the reason, of course, that I want to call attention to the website of the Eternal Archive and “seduce” me there, but also legal reasons: According to the conditions that everyone Users of Facebook must accept the full rights of any “uploaded” image, video and text to Facebook that can do whatever it wants, resell, etc. This does not apply if a link is posted
