After All Those Years: Ein Plakat für eine Ausstellung in der Secession wird „nachgestellt“. Wien | AT · 1976–2023 (Plakat © PP., Thomas Reinhold, Rainer Wölzl; Foto re.: © Dieter Brasch; Tableau: PP · # 2841 · www.ewigesarchiv.at) Vor 47 Jahren, im Jahr 1976, stellten Thomas Reinhold, Rainer Wölzl und ich in der Clubgalerie der Wiener Secession aus. Für das Plakat fotografierten wir uns mit meiner Rolleiflex mit Selbstauslöser genau zwölf Mal – eine Filmrolle für die Mittelformatkamera hat eben nur zwölf Aufnahmen, die Negative sind je 6 x 6 cm groß. Eines davon wählten wir aus als Sujet für das Plakat, das im Siebdruck gedruckt wurde. In der unteren Reihe sind vier weitere Aufnahmen aus der Serie der Fotos. Anlässlich der Video-Premiere meines Videos „Reimo Wukounig · Der Schmerzraum des Zöglings 33“ am 23. Mai 2023 kam auch Rainer Wölzl und wir beide „stellten“ das damalige Plakat nach. Thomas Reinhold hatte ich natürlich auch eingeladen. Was ich großartig finde: dass Rainer mit zwar leicht ergrautem, aber vollem Haupthaar und Schnauzer posieren kann! :-)

After All Those Years: A poster for an exhibition at the Secession is “recreated”. Vienna | AT 1976–2023 (poster © PP., Thomas Reinhold, Rainer Wölzl; photo right: © Dieter Brasch; tableau: PP # 2841 www.ewigesarchiv.at) 47 years ago, in 1976, Thomas Reinhold, Rainer Wölzl and I in the club gallery of the Vienna Secession. For the poster, we photographed ourselves exactly twelve times with my Rolleiflex with a self-timer – a roll of film for the medium format camera only has twelve exposures, the negatives are each 6 x 6 cm in size. We chose one of them as a subject for the poster, which was screen printed. In the bottom row are four more shots from the series of photos. On the occasion of the video premiere of my video “Reimo Wukounig · The Pain Room of Pupil 33” on May 23, 2023, Rainer Wölzl also came and we both “recreated” the poster from that time. Of course, I also invited Thomas Reinhold. What I think is great: that Rainer can pose with a slightly gray but full head of hair and a moustache! 🙂
